There are significant differences in durability, slip resistance, cleanliness, and price among shower trays made of different materials. They can be selected according to usage needs, budget, and installation conditions. The specific advantages and disadvantages are as follows:

Acrylic
1. Lightweight and easy to install: lightweight (about 5-8kg/㎡), low requirements for floor load-bearing capacity, strong adaptability to old/small houses;
2. High cost-effectiveness: Affordable price, it is the mainstream choice for basic models;
3. Flexible design: can be made into various shapes such as square, round, fan-shaped, etc., which can match different bathroom layouts;
4. Good insulation: less likely to dissipate heat quickly than ceramic tiles and steel glass materials.

Artificial stone (resin/quartz)
1. Durable and resistant to manufacturing: High surface hardness (Mohs hardness level 5-6), scratch and impact resistance, and long-term use without leaving marks;
2. Easy to clean: The surface is dense and pore free, and stains (such as residual shower gel and scale) are not easy to penetrate. It can be wiped clean with a damp cloth;
3. Excellent anti slip performance: It can be used as a textured or anti slip coating, with strong friction when wet, making it safer for the elderly/children to use;
4. High appearance value: The color is uniform (commonly in beige or light gray), and can be made into a seamless integrated shape, which looks more upscale when paired with modern style bathrooms.

Ceramic/enamel (including cast iron enamel)
1. Extremely durable: The ceramic glaze is hard (Mohs hardness level 6-7), scratch resistant, corrosion-resistant, and can last for more than 10 years under normal use;
2. High temperature/acid-base resistance: Not afraid of direct impact from high temperature showerheads, can also tolerate common cleaning agents (such as bathroom specific descaling agents), with fewer cleaning restrictions;
3. Strong waterproofness: Ceramic/enamel has extremely high density and no risk of water leakage, so there is no need to worry about material aging caused by long-term immersion in water.
